Trading fee structure and fee tiers

The Lux CEX uses a maker-taker fee model. Makers (limit orders that add liquidity to the book) pay lower fees than takers (orders that remove liquidity). Fees are configurable per market and set at registration time.

How Fees Compare

The Lux CEX operates as a registered ATS, not a retail exchange. Fee levels are competitive with institutional ATS venues:

Institutional crypto ATS0.02-0.10%0.05-0.15%

Fee Configuration

Fees are set per-market via the Market struct at registration:

{
  "symbol": "BTC-USD",
  "maker_fee": "0.001",
  "taker_fee": "0.002"
}

Compliance Costs

ATS registration, compliance infrastructure, and regulatory reporting are included in all institutional tiers. There are no separate compliance surcharges.
